Highly resistant Plastisol prelaquered steel was required due to the corrosive environment. DAKAR covers with large inspection hatches were manufactured to allow quick access to the idlers. The covers were fixed with our C-6 CLAMP on a steel angle welded to the stringers all along the conveyor.
