Inspection access on one side.
Balance between accessibility and protection. These two models facilitate visual and manual inspection accessibility from one side of the belt. The other side is completely protected from dominant winds and heavy rain. The DURBAN model offers greater access, while the LIMA has enhanced wind resistance.
Characteristics
Inspection access from one side: the cover covers the upper part and one side of the conveyor belt, leaving one side free for maintenance.
Dismountable: it can be completely dismantled by loosening the screws, leaving the conveyor belt completely free. Without any structures or obstacles.
Self-supporting: it does not require any structure.
Quick and simple to install: it adapts to practically all conveyor belts.
Installation instructions
Directly screw the 180º cover to the conveyor belt frame. It is recommended that 40 x 40-mm steel angles be installed on both sides of the conveyor belt.
Pre-installation option. the steel angle can be welded in the workshop, with subsequent onsite installation of the fixings.
Stop the conveyor belt before beginning to install the fixings.
Screw the 140º fixings on top of the 180º ones using 5.5 x 22 P16 self-drilling screws.
Necessary tools: electric screwdriver with 8-mm chuck.
Use PPE (personal protection equipment) as required by law. CAPOTEX recommends the use of gloves, hardhat, safety boots and ear protection.
